The Flood Watch continues for
* the Kuskokwim River at McGrath.
* Until 10 am akdt Saturday
* an ice jam has formed on the Kuskokwim River just downriver
from the McGrath Airport. River levels are rising and flooding
is possible until the ice jam releases.
* At 1045 PM Friday the river watch team reported that the water
has continued to rise and is near bank full. The low lying areas
are filling in with water. The water remains 4 ft below the
runway.

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts.
Residents of McGrath should monitor conditions and take
precautions to protect life and property.
