evening...

A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 9 PM CST this
evening.

* Timing... snow... sleet... and freezing rain will continue this
afternoon with precip beginning to taper off by around 9 PM.

* Snow accumulations... up to an additional inch of snow and sleet
is possible.

* Ice accumulations... ice accumulations of up to one tenth of an
inch are possible... although just a few hundredths will be
more common.

* Impact... travel conditions will be treacherous in some
areas... as roadways remain ice and snow covered.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow... sleet... or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.
