... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 6 PM CST this
evening...

A Winter Storm Warning is in effect...

For the following counties...
* in Arkansas... Washington... Madison... Benton and Carroll.

Hazardous weather...
* areas of light to moderate snow will continue to spread across
   northwest Arkansas this morning... transitioning briefly
   to sleet before shifting east. Areas of drizzle or light
   freezing drizzle will remain possible this afternoon into
   the early evening hours.

* 2 to 4 inch snowfall amounts are expected across northwest
   Arkansas with the highest amounts in the higher terrain
   areas.

Impacts...
* travel will become hazardous... especially on bridges and
   overpasses. .

Precautionary/preparedness actions...
* use extra caution if driving. Attempt to stay on treated
   roadways. Expect travel delays.
