... A pair of cold storms will impact Southern California through
Wednesday night...
The first of a pair of cold low pressure systems from the north will
move through southwest California this afternoon through early
Tuesday. It is expected to bring numerous showers along and west of
the mountains this afternoon and evening with snow levels lowering
to 4000 to 4500 feet. There is also a slight chance of thunderstorms
with small hail late this afternoon through tonight. There will also
be strong gusty west winds in the mountains and deserts through late
tonight with strongest winds this evening. There will also be gusty
west winds near the coast this evening. Showers may linger over
southern areas into Tuesday.
A second cold low pressure system from the north is expected for
Wednesday and Wednesday night. It is expected to be similar to the
storm for today... except slight colder... stronger... and faster.
