Special Statement

... Slick travel tonight as areas of freezing drizzle and light snow
continue...

Patchy to areas of very light freezing drizzle will continue across
parts of northeast Iowa and southwest Wisconsin through midnight.
Snow will start to mix in from west to east... with most of the
precipitation falling as light snow after midnight. Little if any
accumulation of either precipitation type is expected.

Law enforcement reported slick roads... but mostly due to
snow earlier in the evening. This has resulted in some accidents and
cars going off the Road.

Light snow... with perhaps some patchy freezing drizzle... will
continue for southeast Minnesota and western Wisconsin through
midnight. Additional snow accumulations will be under 1/2 inch.
Roads in these areas will also be slick from the light snowfall.

Wherever you travel... be prepared for slippery conditions. Untreated
and less traveled roadways will have some icy spots on them. Be
alert... allow for longer stopping distances and extra time to reach
your destination.
