Winter Weather Advisory

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6 am CST early
this morning...

A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6 am CST early
this morning.

* Light freezing drizzle should continue through the night.

* Temperatures across the area are very close to the freezing
mark... and are expected to warm slightly from the south late tonight.
Therefore... additional accumulations of ice will be very minor.
Any ice accumulation will likely only be on elevated surfaces.

* Travel problems will mostly be confined to areas that already
have significant snow cover... mainly over southeast Missouri.
However... some isolated slick spots will be possible throughout
the area until the sun rises this morning.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow... sleet... or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.
