Special Weather Statement

... A wintry mix of precipitation tonight...

A weakening upper level disturbance will move into the lower Ohio
Valley tonight and Tuesday morning. A wintry mix of precipitation
is expected... ranging from mostly snow in northern Kentucky to a
snow/sleet mix in central and southern portions of the state. By
early Tuesday morning warmer air aloft is forecast to move in and
cause the mix to change over to light rain by mid morning.

For portions of central and south central Kentucky... some light
accumulations of snow will be possible. At this time... an inch or
less of snowfall is expected across the area covered by this statement.

The wintry mix will lead to some travel problems tonight and into
Tuesday morning. Stay tuned to NOAA all hazards weather radio and
your local media for the latest updates on this winter weather
situation.
