A High Wind Warning remains in effect until noon EST today.

The High Wind Warning includes Cape Cod... Marthas Vineyard...
Nantucket and Block Island.

West winds will increase rapidly late tonight as a low pressure
moves away from southern New England.

Sustained winds of 30 to 40 mph with damaging gusts as high as
60 mph are likely across Cape Cod and the islands... especially
between 3 am and 10 am today. These winds may be strong enough to
bring down trees... large branches and power lines. Be prepared for
power outages.

A High Wind Warning is issued when sustained winds of 40 mph are
expected for at least an hour... with gusts of 58 mph or greater
at any time. Damage to trees... power lines... and property are
possible with wind of this magnitude. Power outages are likely.
