A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 4 PM EST Thursday.
Snow will continue across the region tonight. The snow could mix
with sleet and freezing rain at times south of a line from Baxter
State Park to Houlton. Additional snow accumulations tonight are
expected to range from 4 to 8 inches. Any ice accumulations are
expected to be a tenth of an inch or less. Snow will diminish
Thursday afternoon. Storm total snow accumulations are expected to
range from 8 t0 12 inches.
This storm will have a low impact on the warning area. Snowfall
across the region will fall at light to occasionally moderate
rates for an extended period of time. The long duration of this
storm will result in significant accumulations. However... light
winds and snowfall rates of generally less than one inch per hour
will result in only minor travel difficulties.
