Winter Weather Advisory

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6 am EST
Thursday...

A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6 am EST
Thursday.

Snow... sleet and freezing rain will occur across the region
tonight. Additional snow accumulations tonight are expected to
range from 1 to 3 inches. Ice accumulations of generally two
tenths to three tenths of an inch are expected tonight. Precipitation
will diminish late tonight. Storm total snow accumulations are
expected to range from 3 t0 5 inches across interior downeast
areas... with 2 to 4 inches along the downeast coast.

This storm will have a moderate impact on the advisory area. A
combination of snow... sleet... and freezing rain will limit
visibilities to less than one half mile at times. Expect snow and
sleet covered roads to cause some travel hardships. Freezing rain
will cause a glaze of ice on roads... trees... buildings and power
lines. The weight of the ice may cause a few tree limbs to snap
with isolated power outages possible. Untreated roads will be ice
covered and slippery.

Please report accumulations to the National Weather Service by
calling toll free... 877-633-6772. Stay tuned to NOAA Weather
Radio... your local media... or go to www.Weather.Gov/car for
further updates on this weather situation.
