The National Weather Service in Caribou has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow... sleet and freezing rain... which is in
effect from 8 am Tuesday to 2 am EDT Wednesday.
Snow... sleet and freezing rain will spread across northeast
Aroostook County Tuesday morning and change to sleet and rain
by late morning. Snow... sleet and rain will continue into Tuesday
evening. Snow and sleet accumulations around 1 inch are expected
with up to 2 inches north and west of Caribou.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
This storm will have a low to moderate impact on the advisory
area. Snow... sleet and freezing rain could make roads slippery
early Tuesday morning. Roads should be mainly wet during the
midday and afternoon Tuesday but could become slippery again in
snow and sleet Tuesday evening.
