Winter Storm Warning


... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 4 PM EST
Thursday...

A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 4 PM EST Thursday.

Snow... sleet and freezing rain will occur across the region
tonight. Additional snow accumulations tonight are expected to
range from 2 to 4 inches. Ice accumulations of a tenth to a
quarter of an inch are expected tonight. Snow will diminish
Thursday afternoon. Storm total snow accumulations are expected to
range from 5 t0 8 inches.

This storm will have a moderate impact on the warning area. A
combination of snow... sleet... and freezing rain will limit
visibilities to less than one half mile at times. Expect snow and
sleet covered roads to cause some travel hardships. Freezing rain
will cause a glaze of ice on roads... trees... buildings and power
lines. Untreated roads will be ice covered and slippery.
