A lake effect snow warning remains in effect until 10 am EST
Friday.

Accumulating lake effect snow showers are expected through early
Friday morning driven by west to northwest winds crossing Lake
Superior. Snowfall totals between 6 and 12 inches will be
possible by Friday morning... especially along and north of M-28...
with the highest amounts near Whitefish Point.

A lake effect snow warning means localized heavy lake effect snow
is forecast that will make travel very hazardous.
