... Roads in some areas in poor condition...
At 830 am the Minnesota Department of Transportation indicated
that roads outside of Duluth and south were in poor driving
condition due to snow. Snow will continue from just outside of
Duluth and south... generally east of the I-35 corridor. Another
couple inches are possible this morning... especially in eastern
Carlton County. A lake effect snow warning continues in effect for
southern Saint Louis and Carlton counties until noon.
Due to snowfall yesterday and last night... roads up the North Shore
from the Lester river to just past Two Harbors were in poor
driving condition.
Poor driving conditions were reported in the area from Grand
Rapids... Floodwood and McGregor. Flurries were falling in that area.
