Flood Warning


The Flood Warning continues for
the South Fork Crow River at Delano MN.
* At 11:30 am Thursday the stage was 18.5 feet.
* Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 16.5 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 20.5 feet by
Saturday evening March 20th then begin falling. Additional rises are
possible.
* Impact... at 21.0 feet... water begins to flow over the dike on the
east side of the river.
* Flood history... this level compares to a previous crest of 18.9 feet
on Apr 30 2001.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Crow River at Rockford MN.
* At 11:00 am Thursday the stage was 11.4 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 14.7 feet by
Sunday morning March 21st then begin falling. Additional rises
are possible.
* Impact... at 15.0 feet... sanitary sewers serving homes closest to
river may begin to back up.
* Flood history... this level compares to a previous crest of 14.0 feet
on Jul 1 2002.
