Flood Warning
The Flood Warning continues for
the Mississippi River at Wabasha.
* From Tuesday evening until further notice.
* At 7:00 PM Saturday the stage was 11.5 feet.
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by Tuesday evening and continue
to rise to near 13.0 feet by Saturday evening. Additional rises are
possible thereafter.
* Impact... at 13.0 feet... the Railroad underpass on Highway 60 may be
flooded. Flooding is also possible along Lawrence Boulevard.
The Flood Warning continues for
the Mississippi River at Red Wing.
* At 7:00 am Saturday the stage was 10.6 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river is expected to rise to near flood stage
Thursday evening.
* Impact... at 14.0 feet... low lying areas and some roads along the
river begin to experience flooding.
* Flood history... this crest compares to a previous crest of 15.3 feet
on Jun 28 1993.

the Mississippi River missing Red Wing l/d 3.
* At 8:00 am Saturday the stage was 677.5 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 680.5 feet.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by Wednesday early afternoon and
continue to rise to near 680.8 feet by Thursday evening. Additional
rises are possible thereafter.
* Flood history... this crest compares to a previous crest of 682.5
feet on Jun 28 1993.
