Winter Weather Advisory

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 6 am Monday to
midnight CST Monday night...

A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 6 am Monday to
midnight CST Monday night.

* Location... central to north central and northeast Missouri.

* Timing... light to moderate snow will begin to fall across the
region around sunrise Monday. The heaviest snowfall may occur
during the morning commute. By Monday afternoon... the snow may
change to... or mix with... freezing drizzle.

* Total snow accumulations... from 1 to 3 inches are expected across
the region... primarily in the morning and afternoon hours... with
a light glaze of ice expected as freezing drizzle begins Monday
afternoon.

* Impacts... the heaviest snowfall is expected to be occurring
during the day Monday... so any travel during the late morning
through the afternoon hours will be difficult. For the evening
hours... any additional snow... or any freezing drizzle... will
continue to make travel difficult.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow and freezing
drizzle will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for
snow and ice covered roads and limited visibilities... and use
caution while driving.
