issued a Winter Weather Advisory for snow and freezing
drizzle... which is in effect from midnight tonight to 6 PM CST
Monday.

* Location... west central to northwest Missouri and adjacent areas of
Kansas.

* Timing... light to moderate snow will begin to fall across the
region during the early morning hours of Monday. By Monday
afternoon... precipitation may change to or mix with freezing
drizzle.

* Total snow accumulations... of 1 to 3 inches are expected across the
region... primarily in the morning hours... but a light glaze of ice
is expected as the event comes to an end.

* Impacts... the heaviest snowfall is expected to be occurring during
the Monday morning commute... which will result in difficult driving
conditions. For the afternoon hours... any additional snow... or any
freezing drizzle... will continue to make travel difficult.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow and freezing
drizzle will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for
snow and ice covered roads and limited visibilities... and use caution
while driving.
