Winter Weather Advisory

... Winter Weather Advisory now in effect from 9 PM this evening
to 3 PM MDT Friday...

The Winter Weather Advisory is now in effect from 9 PM this
evening to 3 PM MDT Friday.

* Timing... rain late this afternoon should transition to snow
across east central Wyoming and the northern Nebraska Panhandle
early this evening and continue into Friday morning.

* Total snow accumulations... 2 to 4 inches.

* Winds/visibilities... north to northeast winds are expected to
increase to 15 to 20 mph with higher gusts. Visibilities could
be significantly reduced by areas of blowing snow.

* Impacts... main impacts should be to driving as slick and
hazardous roads are possible.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.
