Winter Weather Advisory

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6 PM CST this
evening...

* timing... light snow may be mixed at times with light freezing
drizzle across the area this morning. During the
afternoon... light snow becomes more likely north of a line from
Beaver City to hastins to Osceola... with the wintry mix to
continue south of that line.

* Snow and ice accumulation... total snowfall accumulations of 1 to
2 inches are anticipated... with the best potential for 2 inch
amounts focused north of Interstate 80 in south central Nebraska.
In addition... freezing drizzle is expected to produce a thin
glaze of ice in many areas.

* Impact... the combination of snow and freezing drizzle could
result in slick roadways... especially for morning commuters.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow... sleet... or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.
