Winter Weather Advisory

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 7 am Saturday
to midnight EST Saturday night...

A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 7 am Saturday to
midnight EST Saturday night.

Light snow could arrive before noon in the County and become
steadier and heavier during the afternoon. Sleet... freezing rain
and rain should mix in with the snow toward evening... especially
closer to the coast. A wintry mix of rain... sleet... freezing
rain and snow should occur during the evening before precipitation
changes back to snow before ending.

Final snow and sleet accumulations should average between 2 and
5 inches with the highest amounts well inland. There is some
uncertainty as to how quickly or how much a changeover will occur
and amounts might have to be adjusted with later forecasts. For
most areas this should be a plowable snow.

Please be advised that driving will become more difficult and
hazardous as Saturday continues. If you must travel... please give
yourself extra time to reach your destination and leave plenty of
space between yourself and the vehicles around. Heavier snow
should fall in places to the northwest.

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow... sleet... or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.
