Special Statement

... Areas of dense freezing fog eastern plains tonight...

Expect locally poor visibilities in freezing fog to persist
across portions of eastern New Mexico tonight... with
visibilities near zero at times.

Freezing fog in contact with roads will produce dangerously slick
and icy spots in black ice conditions... especially on bridges and
other elevated surfaces. Of particular concern will be Interstate 40
from Clines Corners to the Texas line... and along highways 285...
60... 54 and 84... and Highway 70 in Roosevelt County.

In addition to the dense freezing fog... occasional flurries will be
encountered as temperatures hold nearly steady in the teens and 20s.
