Wind Advisory


... Wind Advisory in effect from 11 am to 7 PM MST Tuesday...

The National Weather Service in El Paso TX/Santa Teresa has
issued a Wind Advisory... which is in effect from 11 am to 7 PM
MST Tuesday.

* Event: strong winds of 25 to 35 mph from El Paso west.

* Timing: winds will increase through Tuesday morning... with the
strongest winds from early afternoon through early evening.

* Impact: winds will be strong enough to blow small objects and
debris around. Winds will also create blowing dust over desert
areas which will impact motorists.

* Visibility: occasional visibilities below 3 miles with local
visibilities below 1 mile in dust prone areas.


Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Advisory means that winds of 30 to 39 mph are expected.
Winds this strong can make driving difficult... especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
