The National Weather Service in Buffalo has issued a lake effect
Snow Advisory... which is in effect from 6 PM this evening to 6 am
EST Monday. The Wind Chill Advisory has been cancelled.
* Locations... Oswego County.
* Timing... early this evening through late Sunday night.
* Accumulations... 3 to 6 inches in the most persistent lake snows
tonight.
* Winds... west 15 to 25 mph.
* Temperatures... lows 10 to 15 tonight.
* Impacts... snow and blowing snow will create limited visibilities
at times and produce snow covered roads and difficult travel
conditions.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
In lake effect snow the weather can vary from locally heavy snow
in narrow bands to clear skies just a few miles away. If you will
be traveling across the region be prepared for rapid changes in
Road and visibility conditions.
