... Lake effect Snow Advisory now in effect until 6 am EST
Monday...

* locations... Seneca... southern Cayuga... Onondaga... Madison... and
Cortland counties in central New York.

* Hazards... lake effect snow... and some blowing snow.

* Accumulations... 4 to 8 inches of snow.

* Timing... lake effect snow showers will pick up in intensity
today... before gradually diminishing tonight.

* Winds... northwest 5 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

* Impacts... snow covered and slippery roads... and quick changes in
visibility.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A lake effect Snow Advisory Means Lake effect snow is forecast
that will make travel difficult in some areas. Lake effect snow
showers typically align themselves in bands and will likely be
intense enough to drop several inches in localized areas. Use
caution when traveling.
