A Winter Storm Warning is in effect...

For the following counties...
* in Oklahoma... Cherokee... Adair... creek... Okfuskee... Okmulgee...
   Wagoner... Tulsa... Rogers... Mayes... Delaware... Ottawa...
   Pushmataha... Choctaw... Craig... Pittsburg... Sequoyah... McIntosh...
    Muskogee... Le Flore... Latimer and Haskell. In Arkansas...
   Washington... Madison... Crawford... Benton... Sebastian... Carroll
   and Franklin.

Hazardous weather...
* periods of moderate sleet and snow continue south and east of
   Interstate 44... with the heaviest precipitation noted east of a
   line from Jay to McAlester. The sleet and snow will gradually
   transition to rain by late afternoon and early evening... with
   all precipitation gradually ending later tonight.

* 1 to 3 inches of snow are still possible across far eastern
   Oklahoma into northwest Arkansas... along with light icing
   amounts of less than one tenth of an inch.

Impacts...
* travel conditions are very hazardous or impossible across
   portions of the warned area. Power outages have occurred... and
   additional outages are possible.
