Flood Warning


The Flood Warning continues for
the Firesteel creek near Mount Vernon.
* At 08pm Saturday the stage was 8.8 feet.
* Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue to fall to below flood stage by
Sunday March 21.
* At stages near 8.0 feet... the right bank overflows.




1002 PM CDT Sat Mar 20 2010

The Flood Warning continues for
the James River at Mitchell.
* At 06pm Saturday the stage was 24.5 feet.
* Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue to fall very slowly to 24.1 feet
by midday Thursday.
* At stages near 25.0 feet... water reaches the bottom of the bridge
on 257th street at the gage... and Highway 42 east of Ethan will be
flooded.
