Special Statement

... Snowpacked roads will result in hazardous travel conditions
this morning...

Most locations across the southeast half of the panhandles generally
received between 1 and 5 inches of snow Sunday. Although the
snow has ended across these areas... roadways remain snowpacked and
slick. Since surface temperatures are expected to remain below
freezing through late this morning... hazardous travel conditions will
continue for many locations. This will have a significant impact on
the morning commute... including motorists traveling along interstates
40 and 27 and highways 287 and 60.

If you must travel this morning... drive slowly and do not follow
other motorists too closely.

If you must travel through Monday Monday... motorists are advised to
drive slowly and not follow other motorists too closely.
