Dense Fog Advisory

... Dense fog advisory in effect until 9 am CST this morning...

The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a dense fog
advisory... which is in effect until 9 am CST this morning.

Areas of fog have developed across North Texas during the early
morning hours. Visibilities are expected to continue to
deteriorate through sunrise as light winds and clear skies remain
over much of the area. Fog may reduce visibilities below one
quarter mile at times creating hazardous driving conditions. Dense
fog is most likely to occur in low lying areas... rural areas... and
near bodies of water. Visibilities are expected to begin to
improve after sunrise with most fog burning off by 9 am CDT.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will be reduced to less
than one quarter mile. If driving... slow down... use your low-beam
headlights... and leave plenty of distance between you and the
vehicle ahead of you.
