Fire Weather Watch

... Fire Weather Watch remains in effect Tuesday afternoon...

A Fire Weather Watch remains in effect Tuesday afternoon.

Southwest winds of 20 mph and relative humidity values of 15 to
20 percent will bring the potential for rapid fire growth and
spread Tuesday afternoon and early evening across west central
Texas.

Do not throw cigarettes onto the ground or out of a moving
vehicle. Keep vehicles on driving surfaces... and do not drive
through tall grass. Outdoor activities that result in flames or
Sparks of any kind are strongly discouraged. Accidental ignitions
will have the potential to grow rapidly into dangerous wind-driven
wildfires.

A Fire Weather Watch means that critical fire weather conditions
are forecast to occur. Listen for later forecasts and possible
red flag warnings.
