Winter Weather Advisory

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 4 PM PST this
afternoon above 2000 feet...

A Winter Weather Advisory above 2000 feet remains in effect until
4 PM PST this afternoon.

2 to 4 inches of snow is expected to fall over the Washington
Palouse beginning late tonight and continuing through the
afternoon. Most of the snow will accumulate east of St John and
Colfax impacting the towns of Pullman... Oakesdale... and Tekoa.

Areas of blowing snow are also expected to develop by midday as
southwest winds increase to 20 to 30 mph. This may also result in
snow drifts across north-south highways including Highway 195 and
State Route 27.

The snow and wind will decrease rapidly during the evening.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.

This includes the following locations... Pullman... Rosalia...
Oakesdale... Tekoa... Uniontown.
