Special Statement

... Potential for light glazing to develop during the night...

The light snow will continue to taper off from west to east across
southern Wisconsin through the early morning hours after midnight
as the main forcing associated with an approaching mid level low
pressure trough exits southern Wisconsin.

However... enough low level moisture and weak forcing will remain
to produce lingering areas of very light snow as well as patchy
light freezing drizzle.

With temperatures hovering at or slightly below freezing... the
light freezing drizzle may result in slippery spots developing on
untreated roads and sidewalks during the late night. The best area
for light glazing overnight... will be in south central Wisconsin
due to slightly warmer air aloft.

Late night motorists should be prepared to encounter scattered
slippery spots on untreated roadways.
