The National Weather Service in La Crosse has issued a Freezing
Rain Advisory... which is in effect until 9 am CDT this morning.

* Light freezing rain is expected early this morning.

* A glaze of ice will cause travel difficulties on untreated
surfaces.

* Be alert for icy conditions on untreated roads.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Freezing Rain Advisory means that periods of freezing rain or
freezing drizzle will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while driving. The

Special Statement


... Light freezing rain and snow may create slick travel this
morning...

A wintry mix will move east across the area through 730 am this
morning possibly creating slippery travel. Where temperatures are
at or below freezing light rain will freeze on surfaces resulting
in icy conditions. A thin glaze of ice is possible. Any snow or
sleet accumulations should be light at a trace to perhaps 1/10 of
an inch. Drive with caution this morning.
