Special Statement

... Areas of freezing drizzle and light snow early this evening...

Light snow and areas of freezing drizzle will continue to
move northeast across the region early this evening. The freezing
drizzle will stay mostly south of an Austin Minnesota to Black River
Falls Wisconsin line.

The combination of precipitation types could make travel slippery
this evening... and a light glaze of ice could develop on untreated
roads... sidewalks... and other exposed surfaces. Motorists should
allow for longer stopping distances and extra time to reach their
destinations.
