Winter Weather Advisory

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6 am CST
Saturday...

A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6 am CST
Saturday.

Snow will continue to spread east across the remainder of
southeast Minnesota and northeast Iowa through 2 am... and into
western Wisconsin between 1 am and 5 am Friday morning. By sunrise
Friday... snow totals will likely be in the 1 to 3 inch range west
of the Mississippi River and up to an inch across western
Wisconsin.

Total snowfall accumulations of 3 to 6 inches are expected across
the region by sunrise Saturday. The winds will gradually increase
on Friday and this may cause some drifting and blowing snow
across open areas and higher terrain.

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.
