Special Statement

... Areas of dense fog expected near the Bay of Green Bay and Lake
Michigan this morning...

Moist air sitting over the relatively cool waters of Green Bay and Lake
Michigan was resulting in widespread fog over the lake and Bay this
morning. Onshore winds were bringing the fog inland... resulting in
greatly reduced visibilities near the lake and Bay.

If you live near the lake or Bay... be prepared to encounter areas of
dense fog during the morning commute. Always use low-beam headlights
when driving in fog. Slow down to the point where you will be able to
safely stop your vehicle if you unexpectedly encounter an animal
or object on the roadway.
