Most of Europe will see a break in wet weather on Saturday as a wide ridge builds over the continent. A strong low pressure system will continue moving eastward from the North Sea, where it will obtain abundant moisture, and into Scandinavia. Expect lighter and diminishing showers over western Scandinavia, while eastern Scandinavia and northwestern Russia will be rainy. Oslo will see clearing skies with highs in the mid-40s(F)/ near 6(C), while Stockholm and Saint Petersburg will see wet weather with highs in the upper 40s(F)/ near 9(F). Moscow could see a few flurries as highs only reach into the mid-30s(F)/ near 3(C).

To the south, a strong ridge of high pressure will build over central Europe from the Mediterranean Sea. Mild and pleasant weather will stretch from Spain, Italy, and Greece, and into France, Germany, Poland, and Romania. Expect mostly sunny skies in Barcelona and Rome with highs in the upper 60s(F)/ upper teens(C). Paris and Munich will see increasingly cloudy skies with highs remaining near 60(F)/ 15(C).

Cloudy conditions will be increasing from the west as a strong low pressure system spins over the North Atlantic. Thus, London will be rainy with highs in the upper 50s(F)/ mid-teens(C).
